Hayride....

Had a great weekend and this year decided to hang around until the early afternoon on the sunday which meant I got to see an Austin 7 on the Wall of Death and the hangover friendly soapbox racing.

Oh and I took a camera so here are some pictures of bikes...

My bike next to Benny's Cutter

Benny looking at Spindles bike... coil had died.

I like the look of this nice simple lines, the sort of thing I want to do with my 'Not a Project' Sportster....

... but then again they do look good in a hardtail frame.

It was all American Twins...

Bike Nite comes to Cheltenham

There was a bike nite arranged for Cheltenham about a mile from where I live so I popped over to the Mushroom Shed picked up the Sportster and checked it out.

Mostly stock Jap bikes but there were a couple of customs including this oddball

And a rather nice shite old trials bike

Not a project....

My FJ died a couple of weeks ago which means I needed a bike that actually ran in order to enjoy the summer. As I had a bit of cash I decided to buy a 1200 Sporty. I picked it up today.

First Harley I've owned, in fact the first Harley I've ridden. I have to keep reminding myself that it's not a project (at least until the TriBSA is finished).

Saw a rather pretty BSA in the car park.

Stafford Shite Old Bike Show

Went to the Stafford Classic Bike show. Weather was sunny. Birthday money was spent. Bikes were looked at.

This Triumph on the Amal stand was so pretty I even forgave the heat wrap on the exhausts..

8V Triumph was for sale, didn't dare ask how much

One of the Tritons there caught my eye

Prescott Bike Festival

Went over to Prescott Bike Festival on Sunday. It seemed well attended considering it is a new event but I've no doubt it was aided by the good weather.

There was a nice mix of cars and bikes. This car caught my eye in th car park.

First time I've seen one of the new Nortons in the flesh.

Ironhead sportster, I could see myself living with something like this one day (although I'd have to change the colour)
