Went Cheltenham autojumble yesterday, picked up some bits and pieces and took some camera phone pictures of some bikes.

Tea Party and Chopper racing.

Busy weekend, started with the Tea party over in Oxford on Friday.

The TriBSA geek in me checked this out, as it runs the Triumph box and primary rather than an A10 box like on mine which should avoid the issues with sealing the primary to engine (of course a dry running belt drive is also an option)

 Knuckle chop, nice and basic.
West's BSA pre-unit, featuring SRM rebuilt engine and Newby Clutch proof you don't HAVE to stick a Triumph lump into a BSA pre-unit frame to make a good bike.
 Some people are just weird.....
 Another shot of the TriBSA.
Toddy's Triumph, every time I see this bike the quality of the workmanship makes me want to either give up trying or raise my game.

On Saturday I rode up to Dirt Quake. The main attraction for me was the chopper racing, I was expecting carnage but I was surprised by how well the choppers did (better than some of the inappropriate street bike class).

This bike didn't race but did look the part.
Krazy Horse Customs had some street trackers on display. I took these pictures of the Stortz rear sets as I may want to steal the idea at some point...

Went to Stafford yesterday

Went to the Stafford Classic and Mechanics (or what ever it's called) Show yesterday.

Bought stuff (mostly tools).

There was a lovely Triumph on the Metal Malarkey stand. Unfortunately I'm rubbish with cameras so this will have to do...

Tipple Run

Four days riding in Wales. Good times.

I've just downloaded the pictures from my camera. Looking at them you'd think we spent the whole time fixing bikes by the road. We didn't its just that that was the only time I remembered I have a camera.

Cheltenham Autojumble

Went down to the Cheltenham Autojumble on Saturday mostly to collect my new rear sprocket from Sprockets Unlimited.

As would be expected there were a few Shite Old Bikes there, including

Panther...

BSA sidevalve

And a Shovel that looked older than it was

Triumph unit lump for a grand.

Picked up some polishing supplies and gaffer tape before heading off to pick up my sprocket, only to discover they had forgotten to bring it. Alls well that ends well as they promised to post it first thing on Monday and it turned up today.

Hayride....

Had a great weekend and this year decided to hang around until the early afternoon on the sunday which meant I got to see an Austin 7 on the Wall of Death and the hangover friendly soapbox racing.

Oh and I took a camera so here are some pictures of bikes...

My bike next to Benny's Cutter

Benny looking at Spindles bike... coil had died.

I like the look of this nice simple lines, the sort of thing I want to do with my 'Not a Project' Sportster....

... but then again they do look good in a hardtail frame.

It was all American Twins...

There was a bike nite arranged for Cheltenham about a mile from where I live so I popped over to the Mushroom Shed picked up the Sportster and checked it out.

Mostly stock Jap bikes but there were a couple of customs including this oddball
